Wilkens Medical Translations grew from Wilkens c.s. Interpreters and Translators in Leiden. Both of these companies are part of the WCS Group, a group of service companies in the Netherlands and Belgium. The WCS Group’s area of focus is international communication and the service provision is language-related in general.

The quality standards for medical texts and translations are exceptionally high. Wilkens Medical Translations realised this early on and set about obtaining ISO certification for its quality assurance as soon as possible. Our working methods for translation are ISO 17100-certified. In addition, we work to the EMA standards and the guidelines of the FDA in America.
The organisation
Wilkens Medical Translations has approximately 25 full-time or part-time staff, in addition to our network of over three thousand professional translators, interpreters and writers.
Account management
Generally, your first contact with Wilkens will be with one of our account managers. He/she will be your regular point of contact so you always know who you are dealing with. Through his/her contact with you, the account manager establishes what you need for your projects.

Project management
The project management department at Wilkens Medical Translations is the hub of the organisation. Our project managers work together closely with the account managers and are responsible for:
